Hyderabad, July 1:  

YatraGenie, one of the online bus ticketing and cab-booking platforms, has launched taxi rental services across 10 cities in Telangana.

By the end of 2015, YatraGenie plans to expand to 100 cities across the country.

Renil Komitla, CEO of Yatragenie, in a statement said, “We have noticed a rising demand for city cab services not only in bigger cities but also in Tier II and III cities. We currently have 100 cabs across ten cities in Telangana. In the coming months we plan to introduce 500 cabs.”

YatraGenie will set up a call centre in Hyderabad and Warangal to serve the customers.

The city taxi service will be launched at Rs 100 for first 6 km and Rs 15 per extra km. Bookings can be made by dialling 2020202 or through YatraGenie’s mobile app or by logging onto the YatraGenie website. Business Line

With this expansion, YatraGenie will have a presence in 32 cities and towns. Apart from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, YatraGenie taxi service is offered in Bangalore. It plans to launch services in Mysore, Mandya, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur, Chamrajpet and other towns in Karnataka. Yatragenie
